Victoria Beckham’s dVb fashion collection has been dumped by a majority of US fashion stores after big complaints about a lack of promotion work and poor sales . Top stores such as Kitson and Fred Segal have dropped dVb range which also included $200 dVb jeans.
When Victoria Beckham launched the range, she said, “I want everything to be 100% and perfect.“I’am not just another celebrity with a licensing deal. Every single rivet or button on a pair of dVb jeans was designed and tested by myself!”
Fraser Ross, who owns Kitson, said: “We asked her PR representatives so many times for her to appear in our stores, but she didn't. Celebrity fashion lines are no different from an album. They simply have to be promoted to sell and that’s a must.”
